Quick answers

Frequently asked questions

Can't find your answer? WhatsApp us — we usually reply within minutes during business hours.

Ordering & pickup

Can I order online and have it delivered?

Online ordering and delivery launch once we receive PCN e-pharmacy approval — expected late 2026 / early 2027. For now, you can: send us a prescription via the upload form or WhatsApp, we prepare it, and you pick up at our Ilorin store.

How do I send my prescription?

Three ways:

  • Use the upload form on this site (drag and drop, includes your contact details)
  • WhatsApp the photo to +234 800 000 0000
  • Walk into the store with the original prescription
How quickly can I pick up my order?

Most prescriptions are ready within 30–60 minutes of submission during business hours. We send an SMS or WhatsApp message when your order is ready.

What if I don't have a prescription?

OTC (over-the-counter) medications like paracetamol, vitamins, antacids, and most malaria treatments do not require a prescription. For prescription-only medicines (antibiotics, blood pressure medication, diabetes medication, etc.) Nigerian law requires a valid prescription from a licensed practitioner.

Insurance & HMOs

Which HMOs do you accept?

We accept most major Nigerian HMOs including Hygeia, Avon, Reliance, AXA Mansard, Leadway Health, NHIA / NHIS, Total Health Trust, Clearline, and Ronsberger. Don't see yours? Ask us — we likely accept it.

Can I use my HMO card directly?

Yes. Bring your HMO ID card and a valid government-issued ID. We'll verify coverage with your provider and process the claim directly. Most claims clear instantly; a few require a 24-hour pre-authorisation.

Trust & safety

How do I know your medicines are genuine?

Every medicine we stock is sourced from PCN-licensed distributors and is NAFDAC-registered. We refuse to deal with informal market suppliers. Our pharmacist personally inspects incoming inventory for batch numbers, expiry dates, and tamper seals.

Are your pharmacists licensed?

Yes — all dispensing is supervised by a Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN)-registered pharmacist. The PCN licence number will be displayed in-store and on this website once our premises registration completes.

How do you protect my prescription information?

We treat prescription information as confidential medical data per the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). It's never shared with third parties without your consent. Read our full Privacy Policy.

Services

Do I need an appointment for vaccinations?

Walk-ins are welcome for most vaccinations during business hours. For travel vaccines (yellow fever, typhoid), we recommend booking ahead via WhatsApp so we can confirm stock and reserve your slot.

How much does a BP check cost?

BP checks, blood sugar tests and BMI are all available as walk-in services. Contact us or visit in-store for current pricing.

Can I get pharmacist advice over the phone?

Yes — basic consultations (dosage questions, drug interactions, side effects) are free via phone or WhatsApp. For anything that requires a physical examination, we'll recommend you visit the store or see a doctor.

Returns & complaints

Can I return medication?

For safety reasons, dispensed medication cannot be returned to stock under PCN regulations — except in the case of a dispensing error or product defect, in which case we replace immediately. Unopened medical devices and OTC products in original packaging may be exchanged within 7 days.

How do I file a complaint?

Email info@aindemex.com or speak directly with our pharmacist in-store. We take every complaint seriously and respond within 48 hours.
