Last updated: 7 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AINDEMEX PHARMACY LTD ("AINDEMEX," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal and health information. We comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria's confidentiality standards.

1. Who we are

AINDEMEX PHARMACY LTD is a Nigerian retail pharmacy registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (RC: 9523680) and operating under the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria's regulatory framework. Our registered address is in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to dispense medicines safely and serve you well:

  • Identity: name, phone number, email, date of birth (where required for age-restricted medicines)
  • Health information: prescriptions, allergies, medical conditions you disclose, and consultation notes
  • Payment information: processed by third-party payment providers — we do not store card numbers
  • HMO information: insurance card details for direct claim processing
  • Website data: basic analytics (pages viewed, device type) via privacy-respecting tools

3. How we use it

We use your information to:

  • Verify and dispense your prescription safely
  • Check for drug interactions and allergies
  • Process HMO and insurance claims on your behalf
  • Send pickup-ready notifications and refill reminders (with your consent)
  • Comply with PCN record-keeping obligations
  • Improve our service

4. Who we share it with

We share your information only when necessary:

  • Your doctor or HMO, when verifying a prescription or processing a claim
  • Regulatory authorities (PCN, NAFDAC, NHIA), when required by law
  • Service providers (e.g. SMS gateway, secure cloud storage) under strict confidentiality agreements

We never sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing without your explicit consent.

5. How long we keep it

Prescription records are retained for the period required by PCN regulations (currently five years from the date of dispensing). Marketing consent data is kept until you unsubscribe. Anonymous analytics is retained for two years.

6. Your rights

Under NDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion (subject to PCN record-keeping requirements)
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
  • File a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission

To exercise any of these rights, email info@aindemex.com.

7. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted cloud storage, role-based access controls, and physical security at our premises. All staff sign confidentiality agreements. Despite these measures, no system is perfectly secure — if you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately.

8. Cookies

This website uses minimal essential cookies for functionality (theme preference, session). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

9. Children

This service is intended for adults. Children's medicines are dispensed to parents or guardians who provide their own information.
